We process the following data, depending on how you use the shop:

• Orders and account: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, order history and payment status. Payment details themselves are handled by our payment provider, not by us.
• Launch updates and product notifications: your email address and, for product notifications, which product you signed up for.
• Contact: whatever you send us when you email info@break-republic.com.

• To process and deliver your orders (performance of a contract).
• To send you launch updates or product availability emails you asked for (consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us).
• To answer your questions (legitimate interest).
• To meet legal obligations such as tax record keeping.

We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the shop, under data processing agreements:

• Hosting of the shop and its database (Medusa Cloud).
• Email delivery for confirmations and updates (Resend).

Order data is kept for as long as required by Dutch tax law (7 years). Email signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Contact emails are kept as long as needed to help you.

The shop currently uses functional cookies only: they remember your cart, your region and your login. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required. [Review this section again before adding any analytics.]

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and you can object to or restrict certain processing. Email info@break-republic.com and we will respond within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
